Boyd & Pear

Shake all ingredients with ice.  Double strain into stemmed glass.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. Boyd & Blair
  • .75 oz Pear Five-Spice Syrup
  • .75 Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

Pear Five-Spice Syrup:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp anise
  • 1/2 tsp. clove
  • 1/2 tsp. white peppercorns
  • 1/2 fresh pear (cut into slices)

Bring water to a boil, add sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved, return to boil. Add all ingredients and boil for 10 minutes. Strain and chill. Will keep for about 2 weeks.
